THE MISSION of Monadnock Worksource is to provide and foster quality life experiences for individuals with disabilities.
OUR VISION is to build partnerships within our local communities where people accept, respect, and value each other’s individuality, abilities, and differences.
Welcome to Monadnock Worksource
Monadnock Worksource was created in 1971 to provide opportunities, supports, and services to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We work together with the people we serve to promote personal growth, help develop lasting social and employment relationships, protect health and provide for individual safety. We are committed to ongoing learning and refining communication, social, academic, recreation and employment skills.
The Worksource is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of family members, local professionals, and other interested community members. An Executive Director and Associate Director support three program directors and their direct care staff. We receive funding from the state and federal government through Monadnock Developmental Services in Keene and from local donors committed to supporting our services.
Monadnock Worksource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
